OHJH Students Rallying to Help Hurricane Harvey Victims

Hurricane Harvey weather logoFor the next few weeks, Ottawa Hills Junior High students will be collecting toiletries, canned food, pet supplies, diapers, and cleaning materials for those in need from the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. This collection also includes school supplies for the children of Houston Schools.Each of the Advisory classrooms have a tote in which the students or community may donate. The teachers will then take the item weekly to the International Services of Hope drop-off centers throughout the Toledo Area. The teachers who have drop off bins are Mr. Mercer, Mrs. Stevens, Mr. Genzman, Mrs.Silvers, Mr. Feuerstein, Mr. Neuendorf, Mrs. Drabek and Mr. Kinkaid.
