Box Tops earn Ottawa Hills cash with your help

Welcome to a new and exciting school year. To our new families and teachers, Brenda Abdouni is the Box Tops for Education coordinator for Ottawa Hills Elementary School. For those of you who don’t know about Box Tops, they are located on almost all General Foods products. They look like this:

Click on Box Tops products.
There are eight pages of Box Tops items that many of us never knew were qualifying products.
Buy the products, enjoy them, clip and save the Box Tops.
There will be canisters in each teacher’s room to store Box Tops.
The last day of each month the Box Tops will be collected and counted. The class with the most Box Tops will win a cereal breakfast.
At the end of the year the class collecting the most Box Tops will win a “HUGE GRAND PRIZE” for themselves and their teacher. We can’t wait to see all of you again, so start clipping!

How to join, support the OHS Parent Association

Membership in the OHS Parent Association is open to any parent or guardian of a current student as well as any teacher, administrator or staff person employed by the Ottawa Hills Schools district who is supportive of the mission of the Parent Association. Simply complete the membership form that is available on this site and submit it to any executive board member. There is no cost to be a member of the OHS Parent Association.

Membership meetings are held monthly at least eight times during the school year. Meeting dates, times and locations are published in the weekly email update and in the school calendar. Only members of OHS Parent Association may hold office, make motions and debate issues. All members are eligible to vote on funding requests, budget, nominations of officers and bylaw revisions. A majority vote of members present at a meeting is needed to pass an issue.

OHS Parent Association Mission:

Ottawa Hills Schools Parent Association is a support group for the Ottawa Hills schools. Its three main purposes are: 1) to raise money to enrich student life through programs and events; 2) build stronger community loyalty; and 3) work constructively with the administration, faculty and parents by providing a forum for the interchange of information, opinions, and ideas.
