Even with the presence of COVID-19, in-person voting is taking place in the Village of Ottawa Hills. Registered voters can show up in person Tuesday, Nov. 3, and cast a ballot from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Junior/Senior High School, 2532 Evergreen Rd. However, many voters are now casting ballots either by sending back absentee ballots or going to early in-person polls. In Lucas County, early in-person voting hours are:
- Oct. 19-23: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Oct. 24: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Oct. 25: 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
- Oct. 26-30: 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Oct. 31: 8 a.m. -4 p.m.
- Nov. 1: 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
- Nov. 2: 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Lucas County absentee ballots were delayed but have been mailed out as of Oct 13. Upon receipt of your absentee ballot, fill it out and return as soon as possible. (If mailing back your ballot, remember to affix the appropriate postage to the envelope).
Alternatively, voters may drop off ballots at one of our two drop boxes.
- One Government Center, Toledo, Ohio, 43604. The box is on the Jackson Street side of the building at the top of the ramp in front of the building.
- 1301 Monroe St., Toledo, Ohio, 43604. The box is on 13th Street between Monroe and Washington. It is on the side of the building near the glass door that is the exit from the early vote center.
