It’s time for Ottawa Hills to participate in a new program sponsored by the American Heart Association: Kids Heart Challenge!
Beginning the week of Feb. 24 through March 1, students will commit to being active through exercise and fitness activities in an effort to fight heart disease. This is a popular event that takes place in schools across the country.
Kids Heart Challenge reaches millions of students each year. The program teaches the importance of regular physical activity to maintain a healthy heart while raising funds for heart disease research. It is an exciting way to enjoy the benefits of exercise.
Now, it’s your chance to make a difference, have some fun, and learn something new. If you want more information, check with Kevin McKee, physical education teacher.
