Jr./Sr. High School releases locker clean-out schedule

This message was sent today by Principal Ben McMurray to parents:


We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy in these challenging times. We are doing our best to support you during our new Remote Learning Plan. A number of you have requested access to lockers in order to pick up personal belongings. Locker-item pick up must comply with Governor DeWine’s order and guidelines from the Lucas County Health Department. Below you will see a table with pick-up times and directions on how to safely and responsibly pick up your items. 

Stay tuned for further information regarding: 

  • Graduation
  • Laptops, textbooks, and other school-issued item drop-off
  • Summer homework
  • Yearbook pickup
  • 2020-2021 student schedules

Upon arrival, cars should pull up to the junior high entrance nearest the stadium. Please form a single-file line (do not park in a parking spot) and wait until a staff member approaches your car. At that time, please roll down your window and state your last name. A staff person will get your child's bag and place it in your trunk. Please do not exit your vehicle. A few other things to be aware of: 
 

  • All pickups are being done at the junior high entrance nearest the stadium.
  • All locker contents and personal items were placed in a labeled bag for pickup.
  • Perishable items were thrown away.
  • Locks were returned to the main office.
  • Textbooks in lockers were returned to classroom teachers.
  • The school and main office remain closed
  • Students and parents will not be permitted inside the building.
  • Please come to the during specified times.
  • Any bags/items not picked up by May 8 will be discarded or donated if possible.
